Welcome! Glad you stopped by our website. We are Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church of Princess Anne, located at 2228 Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach, VA. We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Our congregation is a vital, active family of believers called to worship and serve from a broad variety of denominational backgrounds and experiences, yet united in Christ to witness to our community his compassion and power in our lives.
Our mission is “to discover God’s will for us and faithfully pursue it according to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, as revealed in the gospel. As a people who care for each other and reach out to newcomers, we recognize that our commitment for Christ is to serve both our community and world.” As you navigate around this website, you will get a glimpse of some of our passion--and our play! Come learn and grow with us, and join us in worship and service. You are always welcome!
Since 2012 I have sponsored a child (Sandra) who lives in the Amazonas region of Peru. Sandra turned 13 this past October. As you can imagine we have developed quite a relationship over our 4 years of communicating via letters and cards. I am very excited to have this opportunity to travel in person to meet Sandra and see with my own eyes the work Compassion International is doing in her community. As part of my trip I have committed to raising $2000 towards non-formal education opportunities.
Please support these efforts to equip students in developing nations with marketable skills that will help them find gainful employment after graduation. Your gifts will provide valuable training in vocational and technical fields, computer skills, money management and household budgeting, and essential job-search techniques.
Kid's of Grace is a part-time, half-day preschool and kindergarten program that is a ministry of Grace Covenant. We welcome children ages two, three, four and five years old to a stimulating environment in which each child is encouraged to grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, and cognitively to his/her fullest potential.
It is a Christ-centered ministry of love and nurture to our families and young children. Our program serves our church family and the community, especially wishing to reach out to new families in our community. We always work toward the development and encouragement of a positive self-image in each child, helping the child to know he/she is special, important and that Jesus loves him/her.
