Bill and Stephanie Black, teaching missionaries in Ethiopia, are back in
Ethiopia in their second “tour” as teaching Missionaries. As they returned,
Bill was installed as Pastor of the International Evangelical Church in Addis
Ababa. In addition, Bill will be teaching “Reformation History” and “Theology”
classes at the Graduate School. Stephanie writes that she is enjoying teaching
Greek classes at the Evangelical Theological College. In addition, she is
actively involved in the SIL/Wycliffe Bible Translators projects. Since there
are 84 distinct languages in Ethiopia, only about seven have the whole Bible in
their own language and another twelve have only the New Testament. So we can
see the importance of this work. Their daughters Linear and Caroline are
involved in schoolwork, sports and the “boyfriend” question. Please continue
your faithful prayer support for this wonderful mission endeavor being carried
on in your behalf by the Blacks. |

ADMINISTRATION |
|
|

Scott and Elizabeth Herring are currently serving on their assignment
with JAARS Center in Waxhaw, North Carolina. The JAARS Center is the
technical support arm of Wycliffe Bible Translators. Scott serves as
Director of Facilities. Effective administration enhances and aids the
work of Wycliffe missionaries and translators around the world.
Elizabeth serves God’s Kingdom and her family by caring for their five
sons. Your prayers and financial support help the Herrings serve in
these critical roles. |
